WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob felt terrible about the whole circumstance with Aizawa. All the kids seemed so young and he seemed... well, Jacob didn't want to call him old but he did have the spirit of a grumpy old man. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing, of course, Jacob's Pa had been sort of similar in that regard, but it had led Jacob to assume the man was significantly older than he actually was, apparently. Even he wasn't exactly sure what his logic had been but he felt bad about the whole situation. So, he'd stayed up and made all sorts of cookies and breads and pasta. Then he'd realized that maybe the amount he made was a bit overboard for the situation so he narrowed it down to an amount that would probably make about two or three meals. Then he set out to find the lion. He still wasn't quite sure what he'd say. Well, he'd say sorry of course but he wasn't sure what besides that. He didn't really want to rub salt in the wound or something like that.
After wandering around the tunnels for quite some time, he finally noticed the lion simply laying on the ground. At first he was worried he was asleep, but upon closer inspection he realized that he was just laying there and... doing absolutely nothing. Jacob couldn't even imagine trying to do that. If anything, he had the opposite problem. He was always trying to do as much as possible as fast as possible, often during times when he was supposed to be sleeping or resting. Even the food he brought now was a product of his habitual restlessness. He couldn't just say sorry, he needed to really prove that he meant it. He took a deep breath and approached the man, speaking, "Uh, Aizawa? I hope I ain't buggin' ya' any but I brought ya' some bread n' cookies n' pasta. I jus'... well, I've been feelin' real bad 'bout what I said the other day so I jus' wanted ta' apologize," he stated. Would that be good enough? Would the lion be more angry that he'd disturbed him and brought it all up again? He hoped not. There probably wasn't anything to be worried about. How could this be perceived as some kind of slight? But then what if it was? No, he just had to stop thinking about it. He'd know soon enough anyway. —A GREAT HONOR TO HOLD YOU UP
