Moth had admittedly never dealt with blindness before, and had been hoping that she would never have to. Although the eyes saw nothing in those who had it, they still held emotions when someone was scared or worried, they still moved and shook when in anger and awe, and she never wanted to have to see the face of someone as she told them that their lack of seeing would be permanent. She didn't think that she would have the strength to hold face if she had to tell someone that. So when Elsweyr had come to get her, to let her know she was needed at the border and why, Moth's heart sunk to her stomach.
She hadn't had the time to grieve her daughter's death when she had found out that she was now alive once more, scared, confused, and seeking her help. She couldn't help but release a sigh of relief when she saw the other, saw that she was - for the most part - okay, even if she was in a new body. After all, the body Moth was in now was not the one she had when she had first arrived in Tanglewood. It happened often on the island as a whole. Paws moved forward to the other, an attempt to press against her made as the - hopefully familiar - scent of herbs would reach her heightened senses. "It's okay Sev, I'm here." She would coo, pulling back for just a moment, to look towards the other, ears pinning to her head as she saw the glowing eyes and the fear they held. "I'm right here and we're going to figure out what's going on. I know it's scary, but it'll be okay no matter what happens." She could only hope that it was simply the weird glow that came from her eyes that made her blind, that it would go away when she calmed down and understood what was going on, but she feared it was more than that.
