A soft breeze swirled around Kold as she sighed, sitting at the edge of the jungle that bordered the scorched lands. The black of her fur almost seemed to smudge away to reveal her brith coloring, the pearly look of her eyes seemed to become darker. White smeared her wings at their tips, though hardly visible as she tucked them in against the cool blue sky. Her tail swung idly to a beat as she mouthed silent words. Soon enough her voice caught edge and she sung into the air.

"Bellows of pain,
And scraping of chains,
The echoes they taunt and deceive me,
Oceans of pain
and Rivers of shame,
the fury it never leaves me."
