DEAR FRIEND as you know, your flowers are withering
your mother's gone insane, your leaves have drifted away.
but the clouds are clearing up
and i've come reveling, burning incandescently,
like a bastard on the burning sea.

"This place is spectacular..." she'd say with a smile towards Michael's question, eyes glancing around the glass walls of the dome they sat in. She was half-tempted to abandon where she sat just to run up to one of the walls and watch the sea-life closer. But she remained where she was for the time being, tail curling around her paws, body gently swaying back and forth. She offers a warm smile towards Sea as he approached as well, happy that he decided to sit next to her. She seemed tempted to say something else, but soon enough the meeting would begin and her focus would fall upon her ma as she spoke up, listening quietly and carefully to her announcements. Upon hearing her own name, as well as two of her sons being given shoutouts, her eyes would light up a little, looking towards them with a nod. She'd offer one to Sea as well, regardless, simply happy the other was here in general.
Her attention would then shift towards her other mother, offering a small grin as the news of her being promoted came out. However, the grin would fade as Rosemary's choice to step down was next, blinking from the news. When Roxie would finish speaking, the female would take a few moments sitting there before preparing what she had to offer to the others. "Um, if I may," the tigress would speak up, voice shaking ever so slightly from the act of raising it. "I could help host the tryouts. Er, take notes, n' stuff, for Roan. So it's not as hard on 'im," she offers with a small nod towards Roan, looking to both him and then to her mom. Her paws shuffle quietly, her head slowly lowering once more as she awaits a response from either. Roan was pregnant, so all the work falling on himself of hosting tryouts, along with his regular duties as soothsayer, was not going to be as easy. The least the tigress could do for him was try to take that workload off. Which she'd been slowly trying to help with over the past month since waking up, but this was just another way she thought she could pitch in. She wanted to be useful.
