Had Sweeney known about the snow that the desert of the Pitt was currently experiencing, she might not have been so homesick. Although she knew that there were many in the group that she had butt heads with in the past - and likely even know, she honestly hadn't changed that much - she knew that in the end they cared for each other in their own fucked up way. The sound of a sigh behind her, however, snapped the kitsune out of her thoughts of home, slight smile growing on her face as she was soon brushed up against, head growing heavy on top of Atticus's the knowing that if she was a feline she would have been purring. It seemed as though no matter where she was, it was always Atticus who snapped her out of her sad thoughts. "Yeah, I figured your mom might be getting tired of us." She would jokingly speak out, small snort leaving her as soon as she had done so. "Thought too I should get to know the place I've been living in for the past month too. Last time I was here before, well, everything, was a long time ago." They had been children then, and it had been soon after Atticus had joined the Pitt. They had come to raid the library. Their little expedition didn't really get too far though, sadly.

The sight of a new face approaching caused Sweeney to pause once more, her mind trying to work out what it was she would say to those in Tanglewood at last. Atticus was easy, they had grown up together, and Moth was getting there considering her trip to the Pitt and staying with the two while she visited soon after her return, but the others here in the group didn't have any special reason to be nice to her. She was a Pitt member and a Callahan, and she knew that there were some around that still recognized the last name for what it was. She might have wanted to avenge her father at one point in her life, but she knew that was no longer really the path for her. "Hello," She would begin, trying to choose her words carefully, something she had never been the best at. "My name's Sweeney." She would offer it in response to the child, even if he had been addressing Atticus with the question of who she was. "I don't think it's rude." She would comment towards the question that New soon asked, tails waving in amusement. She had never been asked about her wings before, they had just been there. "And I don't color them, though I think that would have been cool to do if they had come out white." Eyes would soon flick over to Aurum as he soon approached, and ears would flick back for a moment.

Aurum was one of the members of Tanglewood that Sweeney had known of before she had met Moth when she had returned, before she had come here to Tanglewood. She had never been close with Aine, but she knew of the stories of what the vixen had gone through when it came to the other, and how strong he had been, even before he was the leader. She knew that he was one of the members that knew about her lineage, and had been worried at first that she would be kicked out when he had come over, surprised when he said nothing of the sort. After all, Tanglewood had not gotten along well with the Pitt during her father's reign, and she wasn't the most peaceful of animals when it came down to things. "I don't think she has." Sweeney would offer, head shifting to look towards Atticus for confirmation before turning back to the others that were gathering. If it hadn't been for the fact that Atticus was Moth's son and she was just simply glad to have him back home, even for only a little bit of time, so she wasn't going to try and reprimand them too much for doing something like walk around too much.

Elsweyr and Arrow were the next two to arrive, and head would turn to each of them in turn as they spoke. It took her a moment to understand what Elsweyr was saying, but soon after she was understanding it in full, nodding her head slightly at first before speaking once more. "I'm feeling better for the most part, yeah." She would offer, thinking for a moment. The wounds that she had gotten from the Coalition were not that bad, and they had been healing, only pain from stiff muscles and some scars left of what had happened, but the nightmares that she had most nights were not something that would go away so easily. She had asked Moth to see if there was something that could be done short of just putting her into a coma, but sadly it seemed as though there was nothing that the mutated jaguar could do. "You're my "buddy" for the system thingy right? Moth told me since I couldn't make it to the meeting. It's nice to see I was partnered with someone like you." Someone who seemed to have her shit together, at least from the outside. At least for right now. Head would finally turn to Arrow as she spoke, and Sweeney would look over her for a second, confused at the appearance before her. She knew weird shit could happen, but she hadn't been expecting a full blown ghost to come up to her and start speaking. She guessed she'd seen weirder though, considering the Pitt's history with their leaders, Silent had been one odd motherfucker. "I'm not so sure I'd be a good flyer either to be honest, haven't really used 'em much." She didn't fully know the extend of how often she had flown when she'd been under Stryker's control, just knew that when she had tried to fly again, it hadn't turned out so well. "So far so good on the settling I think, haven't seen too much." Oh but she had heard and felt enough of it when it came to the noises in the swamp, and the mud itself.
