"blood is like wine, unconscious all the time" ✭ ── She hadn't been there at their return, actually she hadn't been around Atticus or Sweeney, period. Being dead made it hard to really introduce yourself, you see. It probably would have been easier to have introduced herself then instead of now, feeling incredibly out of place. A twinge of guilt soon began to infiltrate the awkwardness in her chest as well, remembering hearing that Atticus was Selby's son. Obviously Moth's lovely child as well, to her surprise when she found that out, but she didn't feel like she'd gotten to know Moth as well as the Tanglewood Roux boys. Realizing that she had not seen Crow's departure or Selby grow up, leaving Atticus standing here now as the only reminder of a man she called a friend when she was still alive made her heart ache, and she didn't even get the chance to get to know him. Life was like that sometimes.
Shaking her head, as if to knock the feelings and distant memories out of her big ass ears, the shaderunner strolled up to the group that had gathered, snorting with a lazy smile at Newkit's inquiries. Actually, it was a good question. "Having wings must be nice, but I'd be a terrible flyer." She almost said "shitty flyer", catching herself right before the words were released into the world. Not today, speedy, not today. The oriental looked up at the duo she had yet to introduce herself too, one translucent ear twitching. "I haven't properly met either one of you. Arrow, resident walking dead. You're Moth and Selby's spawn, so i've heard." Arrow nodded once at Atticus, feeling like she just aged ten years by saying that, even though aging had been halted in it's tracks for the time being. "Hope you're both settling in well."
