[align=center][div style="width: 40%; text-align: justify;"]new wasn't the best when it came to greeting new people, or meeting people he hadn't previously known before. he guessed he kind of knew atticus, but they'd never spoken- despite technically being family and all. besides, he never really had time to talk to them, with all of his escape attempts and all that, but there was always times like these where he was too tired to shuffle himself all the way out to the entrance of camp. days like today when he just wanted to lounge around and chill for a while.
the voice of atticus drew his attention, talking to someone who he didn't quite recognize. a girl, who's wings were honestly the prettiest things he'd ever seen. prettier than his dad's, even. he guessed it would be a good idea to go introduce himself, maybe actually get to know his family a little. pushing himself up, he struggled his way off of the fountain he'd been set down on, and stumbled his way over. "hey, atticus. who's your friend?" he greeted, before smiling at the woman. "i'm newkit." that name was starting to get real old.
"i like your wings. they're pretty.. not to be rude, but are they naturally rainbow, or do you color them?"
