It had almost been a month since Sweeney had found herself following Atticus to the home of one of the groups that had hated the Pitt the most since as long as she could remember. When she had showed up on the border, she had expected there to be hostility, death even, but she had been surprised with the group welcoming the two in. Of course, Atticus would be welcomed in, he had family here, but herself? She had no idea why she was allowed to reside in Tanglewood in the first place, let alone for almost a whole month.
Sweeney hadn't been to any of the meetings that had been held in the group, too worried about eyes watching her or her wounds opening up once again simply by walking. She hadn't had them as bad as Atticus, had been sent to fly above everything and watch as much as possible, getting involved in fighting only when it was absolutely necessary, but she had still fought, especially towards the end, when she had finally gained the control of her mind back. It was not only emotionally but physically exhausting, and so for the past month she'd mostly just slept.
Waking up on this day though, Sweeney noticed that she was a lot better than she had been, no longer needed to sleep. It took some convincing from Moth to leave the house though, not wanting to leave Atticus behind while she wandered around the territory, finally got to know the place that she had been stuck in the past month. Truth be told, Sweeney still wasn't sure if she wanted to move back to the Pitt or not. Of course, she wanted to see the rest of the members of the Pitt that she considered family, wanted to see if her own sisters had managed to come back in the time that she had been gone, but she didn't want to leave Atticus. Her best friend. He was her main priority right now, and he seemed happy here, he had actual family here.
Decisions would have to be made, but not now. For now, Sweeney was in the town, sitting on the porch of Moth's little home, looking out over what she could see of the territory. She didn't dare call out for those who wanted to meet her to do so, but she would simply wait. Maybe some would come, maybe they wouldn't, she didn't care either way.
