It looked like a pretty normal picture, although the kitten had blood all over him. He pricked his ears as they neared closer, showering Harrison in compliments and giving him tips for the next time he went out hunting. Jeez, what were they? Hunting masters? Jerseyboy knew how to catch a mouse when he needed one, sure, but these guys had it down to a T. "Huh, didn't realize there was such an art to hunting." Jerseyboy snorted.
He turned his head and shrugged. "It was easier when cars would just run 'em ova' for you." In the city, there'd be lots of roadkill. Raccoons, rabbits, and especially squirrels. The place was infested with them. However, there were no cars out here, and you had to rely on your instincts. Jersey glanced down at Harrison once more and hummed, "But you did good, eh?" He couldn't stop noticing the blood that stained the boy's maw and he told him, "Clean yourself up, wouldja'? You look like an axe murderer." He was sure that Jacob would have a near heart-attack if he saw him looking so gory.
