Sevcon might’ve had a point; Ninazu couldn’t understand why Stheno refused to bite his ass and end his stupid existence. After all, when the Rosebloods had sacrificed Ninazu herself to their gods… Ninazu had obliterated them. It didn’t quite play out in a blaze of glory, but the erudite-turned-ardent credited herself for a significant part of the Roseblood’s decline. Vengeance danced in Ninazu’s mind, allowed her to focus when she otherwise failed to plan anything properly, and she couldn’t understands Stheno’s weakness here.
“Aurum, do you want a third beating from me? If so, keep talking.” Ninazu grimaced and flicked her forked tongue.
