TELL HIM THE NIGHTMARES HAVEN'T STOPPED
tell him i'm not sure what is real and what is not
Loey whimpered as he stared at plot of land that he knew Hani and Alan to have been trapped by. The distant sounds of a scuffle and harsh words was nothing to him as he lay flat against the ground, until Basil's voice reached his ears.
It seemed to snap him out of whatever trance he'd been in, for his body slowly pulled itself to all four paws as he studied his weak, shuddering legs.
The feline's senses cleared up slowly, his head shaking and he turned, eyes widening as he noticed the other stranger, and suddenly their chances of winning this were even slimmer, though currently they had the advantage of numbers.
But they couldn't fight. Loey himself was not a fighter, not in this body, he was a healer; suppose Tena, Tempa and Lavi could fight, but what good would it do? Tena was... Tiny, and Tempa had shown no signs of wanting to fight thus far.
But maybe Tempa and Lavi were right, maybe it would be better to wait this out. Yes, that would be best.
"When I lead Zephyr Templar.." he began, a hard glare settling on his attractive face. "I faced oppressors like you. I lead the Templar through an avalanche and a landslide on my own. And you have made a mistake. Tanglewood, Alithis, PalmClan and now us? How do you expect to keep us all in check. You have bit off more than you can chew and frankly I can't wait for the day it all blows up in your face." he sneers, tight muscles tensing in the effort to not lunge forward now.
He needn't speak more, he'd made his point already, but the notion of Hani and Alani being traitors sent him almost into a blind rage. "And Hani and Alani were not traitors. They might have been, when they came here, but they changed. They turned you away twice, shit-for-brains." he growled, his pupils blown wide and lips twitching so as to keep his teeth concealed for now.
"Tena, we should do as we're told for now." he pleaded, taking a few steps forward so he stood at her side. He was expecting a fight either way, from Stryker and his oncoming army or from Tena.
