It was the ultimate coping mechanism- you know, besides nicotine and beer. It was perhaps the only method that didn't deteriorate your body. You could escape through the lyrics and get lost in the melodies. Jerseyboy knew this firsthand, as his childhood hadn't exactly been the best. And, although it would never seem like it, he was a good musician. Vocals and guitar were his forte, and he often did so on his own time, hence the reason why nobody really saw him play.
A tune carried in the air, and Jerseyboy couldn't help but be attracted to it like a moth to a flame. He didn't think that these guys had any musical talent whatsoever, so he was curious to see who was emitting this song. He eventually stumbled upon a ukelele-playing clouded leopard. What was her name? Britain? London? Something like that. He observed her for a while until she stopped singing, and he chirped he began to approach her, "Ey, that doesn't sound too bad." It wasn't bad at all. She really had a gift there, there was no denying that.
The tuxedo tom took a seat, curling his tail over his paws. "You should sing more often, you know that?" Jerseyboy always noticed how soft-spoken she was, so he wanted to at least encourage her.
