Rilling up idiots always brought a smirk to her face. Ninazu couldn’t smirk for long, however, as the icthyovenator’s tail thrashed and dragged her with it. Ninazu growled, gripping tightly, but her claws lost their grip on the flashing scales. She tumbled, ducking her head to her chest, rolling on the marshy muck.
Lightning zipped between her paws, but Ninazu kept them tucked to her belly as she lay there, flopped on her side as though fully stunned. She tracked the icthyovenator’s heavy steps; focusing on her breathing, she brought her paws together and felt the electricity zip zap and singe her own flesh.
When Tide-Fall slashed, Ninazu brought up her paws and attempted to tap the dinosaur’s body with her lightning-soaked paws. The icthyovenator’s claws dug into her body, too, but Ninazu gritted her teeth against the pain. This body was disposable, all flesh was disposable to her goals, but wounding the dinosaur would be more than a fair trade.
