While the Icthyovenator rushed toward her, Ninazu snorted a blob of blood out of her nose. Lightning crackled in her paws as she breathed through her mouth, lips parted, blood streaming down her fangs and dripping everywhere. Ninazu ducked, took the tail thwack to the shoulder, and rolled with the blow as she fell to the ground. Her body hurt, she’d definitely be bruised and sore tomorrow, but she didn’t think for a second about backing off.
She attempted to hook her claws into the Icthyovenator’s rigid tail and hang on for dear life. Theropods had extremely rigid tails, and this one’s long ass one made for a perfect hold--she hoped that, by holding on to the end, the Icthyovenator wouldn't have the reach to claw or bite her. “Oh, wow, I’m fighting your tail. Is the ittle wittle beastie afraid of using her big girl teeth?”
