looking upon the members that stood before them, they smiled warmly, coughing slightly at the chill in the air. gaze taking in those there, asteri, bahano, wuyi and aker. their heart beat a strange note in their chest, heart squeezing in their chest. everyone here ... they were theirs to protect ... but could they? shaking their head, the kingpin rumbled a greeting, "good morning all. i apologize for missing the september meeting!", things had been a little too ... insane for their mind to grip everything at that time. taking a deep breath and exhaling, they eyed the fog with a look of distaste upon their visage, spotting shapes in the fogs. they knew that the spirits were there, without even needing their sight to feel that second supernatural chill that accompanied them. turning their attention back to the rest before them, they rumbled out a soft breath, tail twitching against the jaguar's paws.

blinking, they launched into the meeting, "first of all, i want to welcome our newcomers and our newest children. a warm welcome to our families and lands to [member=14715]FAKHIRA CIPHER.[/member] , [member=16373]loam[/member] and [member=16311]VIOLET-[/member] . i hope you three will enjoy your stay. a warm welcome to [member=16591]Bahano[/member] , i hope that you enjoy our lands and culture, Bahano. On an additional note, Playerone, i would like to speak to you after the meeting, come up when we have finished.", their voice held a tone that carried a weight they did not wish to share as they came to their last sentence, gaze looking for the goddess, eyes holding a serious note. shaking their head, they gave a soft chuckle, "Fakhira, I am assigning you to Dawn Watch, Loam I am assigning you to Night Watch, and Violet, I am assigning you to Night Watch. I will be assigning the Mid Watch to the Inn for the month of November, please make sure to welcome our visitors and new joiners! From now on, you will also be choosing your own Watches, i just ask that you speak to me when you choose one. The Watches serve as a grouping, or a title. Such as tutor or trainee, you would simply belong in that grouping, and wear that title. The Dawn Watch handles anything relating to health and information, such as our history records, our trade routes, and any subsequent legends and lores to do with our land. they are responsible for looking after our health, and any subsequent information to the group in a whole sense. The Mid Watch is in charge of hunting and offensive battle, they are responsible for ensuring that we all have enough to eat, and that we know how to fight and bring the fight to the enemy. The Night Watch takes care of the duties of guarding and defensive battle, they are responsible for keeping our home safe from the enemies that wish to sneak in, and they make sure that we know how to defend ourselves in battle. Keep in mind that i will be looking to fill the positions of Recorder, Grappler, and Defender in the next few months, so I encourage activity!", they boomed warmly.

Flicking their tail once more, they rumbled softly, "At this point, I want to also introduce a new Tradition. From now on, everyone is going to be earning a 'Necklace', made of whatever you wish. Upon this necklace, there will be a piece of metalwork or a precious stone or gem that represents your family flower. For example, those who carry my family name, will be wearing yellow metalworks or precious stones on their necklaces. Our family is represented by sunflowers, and as flowers are a bit too fragile once picked and dried, it is safer to use other things to symbolize them. Additionally, upon these necklaces aside from what you pick to show your family, there will be an item to designate your Watch, an item to show your rank, additional items to show any specific titles you gain, and items to specify any special honors you receive. The Watches will be designated with teeth dyed in the colors of light blue, pale yellow, and dark purple to show that the wearer belongs to Dawn, Mid or Night Watches, ranks will be designated by sea glass beads given to them by myself or the Subaltern, when the position is filled. Titles will be designated by feathers from many different species, and their meanings will be given when the title is obtained. Special honors will be made from the trees and different woods within our home territory, and will be made into wooden beads. Once we have decided on these honors, they will be assigned with their meanings as well. A last part to the necklaces that I would like to add is that you also have the ability to create a custom accessory for it.", they spoke, sweeping a paw to the ground close to them where a basket sat, "take your necklace from this basket here. Take with it a tooth that is designated to your Watch. Every Alithian here is asked to take a red piece of sea glass. [member=10179]Malak[/member] please step forward and take a blue piece of sea glass to celebrate your rank as Practitioner of the Dawn Watch.", they rumbled, whiskers twitching.

Shaking their head, they continued, voice warm and hopeful, "I want to give a shoutout to [member=15977]Asteri[/member] and [member=16057]Sam[/member] for their activity in September, thank you for all you've done. I would also like to give a shoutout to [member=15977]Asteri[/member] and [member=16529]wuyi[/member] for their activity throughout October.", they murmured, smiling to the individuals they had called out. "I would also like to thank Sloan for their increased activity and participation." they had seen their own child around more often, and it warmed their heart. "Today, I would also like to announce that we have made an alliance with Palmclan! We are looking into an alliance with The Coalition of the Condemned, and I would like everyone's opinions on such an alliance - we wouldn't have gotten this far without everyone working together on important matters. I would like to say that I've traveled to other groups outside of our lands, and thus far, we have no exactly conclusive matters from such meetings. With The Typhoon, we are at a neutral standing, as well as with Elysium, The Pitt, and Tanglewood. Coalition of the Condemned also currently follows under neutral, we will be discussing this matter today. The Pitt seems open to a trade route, we shall work more closely on speaking with them upon such a matter. Keep your eyes out for any visits from any of the groups", they rumbled, voice taking a more serious note. The children were young, yes, but they ought to know of who in this world were their friends, and who was likely to take them out.

"I would like to announce that following a surge of bandit activity, my daughter, Veris has died, and my son Laeglin, was seriously injured. The bandits have also shown us that they are not afraid of killing the defenseless, nor are they afraid of wreaking havoc in our home. Please, as an adult, attend the raid meeting and planning, so that we can come up with a plan to drive them out for good. We are able to call upon Palmclan to come and join us, and we shall be calling upon their warriors shortly. I will lead the raid once we have a plan laid out. The children will be going to Palmclan while we take the fight to the bandits, for their safety.", they boomed, gaze steely. clicking their tongue, they exhaled with a shudder of their body, "It has come to my attention, and I'm sure to everyone else's attention, that the weather has begun to worsen. the snow is coming, and the air has grown icy. we have our own worries with this storm, and i want the Mid Watch to go out and start hunting to ensure that we have enough food. On top of this, the ice floes have set in, and they are now thick enough to cross onto, and we are holding an expedition onto them to see what we can find out. we are crossing to the longship ruins, to make sure that the bandits are not claiming them for their own use with the cold. we will also be hunting large sea faring creatures, as the whale we caught some time back was too rotten to make much use of.", they rumbled, tail curling up before their eyes darted to the fog, "Keep your eyes out for the spirits of this territory. They are awakening and for whatever reason ... they seem to be uneasy. Stay aware of anything to come from them. I would also like to ask you all to keep in mind your health with this cold and chilly season.", they rumbled, standing up to stretch. Exhaling, they gave a deep rumble, "Lastly, i would like to thank every one of you all for everything you have done, and continue to do. I will announce now, that I am looking to find a Subaltern, which will be decided upon across the next few months. Dum spiro spero -- while i breathe, i hope. Announcements are finished.", they spoke as they stooped to pick up their own necklace from the basket, threading it through a bright yellow piece of sea glass, and a yellow tooth that resembled the Mid Watch.
