Bastille was more or less on the same page as Etty. He'd stumbled upon her eavesdropping, realizing it was Roy, and promptly joined her. He didn't really give a fuck about the lack of morals, here -- it was Roy, who was a shady fuck and absolutely hiding something. It was his own damn fault for hiding so much, if you asked Bast, and therefore he was not at all apologetic about creeping on their conversation. It was about time that they know about the truth.
And the truth was... underwhelming, frankly. Some human shit that went awry, landing these two in their world. Sure, it sounded bizarre and shocking, but Grimm had several stories tucked away about transformations and strange fates tucked away in that grimy soul of his... hell, Bast loved the Metamorphoses. It certainly explained a lot about Roy, and his general shadiness, and as he stepped after Etty he pinned the idiot tiger with a flat, unimpressed look.
"Really? Some dumb accident is what you were hiding from us? Why didn't you just say so?" he grouched, vaguely disappointed that it didn't turn out that Roy was some evil fuck trying to infiltrate them and overthrow Starry. That was how he acted, damnit, not like some poor human trapped in a damn animal. A let down, and waste of his suspicions, at that.
Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror years ago, Idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on his sword, Innocence died screaming; honey, ask me, I should know, I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door. [sup]▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃[/sup]
