He had only been here for a couple days but it was ample enough time to observe and see what he needed to know. These people were relatively amiable and whether it was because they thought of him as child or not he couldn't tell. This would be his first meeting and he didn't reply right away when the leader said his "name".
Instead the man would stare as his paws in silence, giving the impression of being far far away. Too big. So soft and plushy. This did not fit him in anyway. This was not him. His body was useless. It was a prison. It was all wrong, he refused to even go near the ocean. There was deep fear in the idea of his reflection, it would be a stranger.
The chuff of the tiger caught his attention as he vaguely recalled the leader saying his given name. He gave a brief smile that did not reach his eyes before staring at the floor again.
