As a new month began, the vulpine felt the time well-suited for a celebration.  Despite his own uncertain opinions of the blooding tradition, the Ardent did possess a high opinion of morale boosters -- celebrations and merriment cemented community bonds.  Even Gael enjoyed spending time among comrades, however quiet he may be.

Flicking an ear, the faerie cast a thoughtful eye over the preparations.  He had a large table set, adorned with a variety of foods -- suitable for both the carnivorous and herbivorous among them.

At the heads of the table, the teeth sat in neat presentation.  The recipients would have to fit them to their liking, but they had been properly dipped red to signify their new status.

He cast a small number of lanterns around the table, illuminating the marketplace in their dancing light as the sun sank lower behind the horizon.

"Pittians!" He knew some were more impatient than others -- no doubt long expecting this event to occur.  Gael cared little for they had resources to conserve; it simply felt more sensible to hold these feasts sparingly.

"Tonight is a celebration for those who returned from their blooding; Vale and Trygve.  We welcome them as full members of the Pitt and hold this feast in their honor."

The Ardent inclined his head in invitation.  "The table is set."
