the dragon had been doing a round, flying up high in the clouds, using the drafts of warm and cold air to keep them aloft, eyes closed peacefully as they navigated the one space that they felt no threat in, relaxed and enjoying their trip before a peculiar scent reached them and their eyes flew open upon the scent reaching their orifices. rumbling, the dragon dove from the high skies, up in the clouds, down towards the sea with a deep and booming roar, landing far down the shore. they had smelt the whale, horrid as the stench was, overpowering the scents of the other two present at the carcass. rumbling as they strolled towards the carcass, their ears picked up on the sound of fakhira's voice, "fakhira? did the scent bring you too?", they rumbled as they came over, unable to pick up on malak's scent through the scent of the oceanic creature washed up onshore. nose wrinkled at the stench, they rumbled, running through their memories, "a whale .... we need to harvest it or it'll just be a humongous problem that we do not wish to deal with. my, my. we could trade or use everything from it.", they rumbled as they thought, fighting against gagging on the stench.
