IT TOOK A LITTLE TIME
[align=center]TO MAKE A LITTLE BETTER

IT'S ONLY GOING UP
JUST ONE THING THEN ANOTHER

Honestly, Lovekit had little knowledge of the feud that was going on between his own family and Aphra's, and he didn't really care to know. He hadn't missed the way that the pure white feline had snapped at him when he had offered to take Alia with him to Palmclan, but that's just how he figured she was. Or at least, that's what his mother had warned him that she was like. He hadn't really taken it personally, nor had he considered the fact that it was because he was a Roux that Alia had been pulled away from him. Maybe his ignorance was intentional, or maybe he was just still too young to fully grasp why Aphra would dislike the Roux family, but either way, it hadn't been a good enough deterrent for the young hybrid. He wasn't one to give up easily, as demonstrated by the fact that he had even gone all the way to Palmclan and back. Sure, that had been partially motivated by grief, but it had been mostly motivated by determination.
It had taken some time for Lo to be able to approach Alia without Aphra's ever-constant presence nearby, but eventually it had happened. The child hadn't even really been looking for Alia, instead just spotting her as she moved along the beach on her own. Feeling an immediate smile come to his face, he gave one last glance around to see if Aphra was nearby, before he went charging through the sand over to the other. Lovekit managed to stop himself just before he would've gone charging into her, saying in a cheerful half purr and half yelp, "Alia! Uh... Alia's your name, right? We didn't really get to properly meet before your mom came along. How come I hardly ever see you out and exploring?" Lo couldn't help the flood of words that left him, the boy far too excited to finally have another kid his age to talk to.
