It continually delighted as well as concerned him how small his fellow friends were - the first because it meant he could protect them with his greater self as a wall if need be (and of course the little hatchlings liked to climb around him) but the latter because he had to take GREAT CARE to make sure he knew where everyone was, thankfully most knew to weave around or take care in return to avoid his walking path.

Storm had had parents who loved him and if all had gone with less tragedy, they would still be with him - would still have raised him - however the savages had stopped such a thing from being reality, but at least he could remember their faces of a little blurry.

But Palmclan had fast become his family, they had even given him a name - a milestone in his life where it went from nameless to Stormspine - named for his spine, named for the storm that had brought him to them.

He joined the three of them and their newest little addition, concern writ in slit blue pupilled eyes ”oh poor hatchling” the little one had been left all alone? Who would do such a thing, or did they suffer a similar fate to storms parents?
