It seemed the young boy's attempt to not draw attention to himself has failed, and despite the blood coming slow, it still did not stop. A pout forms on his features as Rhinestone approaches, tail curling around himself. He goes quiet, hearing his brother's words, moving the pressure off of his paw. "I beat the enemy crab." He says softly, gesturing to the dead crustacean in front of him. The boy hesitates to move, the stinging in his paw still pulsing. He looks behind him, embarrassment seemingly beginning to grow in his face now. At least he wasn't coming back entirely empty-pawed, even if it resulted in the display before him. "I wanted to catch a bird or-or a fish." He says, tail tip now twitching behind him.
Still, despite his attempts not being all that fruitful, he would lower his head, grasping the crab between his teeth and holding it as he raises once more. He gets up, walking lightly on the paw that had been pinched, moving up next to his older brother. It's fine, he decides. He could try again later - for today he could just be Weepingkit, the kitten who caught a crab. Tomorrow, he could be the one who catches a fish. A shark, even! Actually, that might be too big for him. He's not sure they'd even be able to eat the whole thing before it went bad. At least, not most of them.
