and so now came the time of the harvest, time to refill and replenish the ever hungry crimson maw of the Nile.

Those that had come back with their kills stood before him now, exsanguinated corpses set aside for later for the feast and the carving - but the blood was waiting for them, waiting to be spilt by their paws into that red river

Silent motioned for them to do so, spilling his own glutted chalice of the lifeblood into the scarlet waters.

The monstrous Ardent turns back to the group and calls them forward

”you are the first to have ever done this, you will not be the last, but for this you will be rewarded - you are of primoris blood and so you will be named

And for this recognition you receive dipped claws of blood for your armour, wear it proudly and all will know - future and past pittians - that you were and are of the first among us,  so May you ever be-”

”I name you - Virgil, Gael, Jack, Dante, Ghostwhisperer, Sweeney, Susurrus, Phobos, Deimos and Atticus as PRIMORIS, in recognition of your efforts and your dedication”

The dipped claws were handed out, the titles bestowed and now the festival was in full sway.

Tonight their would be a feast!
