Paola looks on eagerly as more members of the Typhoon start popping up. She doesn’t think she’s all too familiar with some of them, but she offers a cheery smile nonetheless; just because they don’t know her doesn’t mean she can’t send a little good vibes their way. Patiently, the she-cat waits her turn, eventually looking impressed at Lovekit’s first creation: a sunflower on Lucifer.
”That looks so amazing,” she offers eagerly, and when her turn comes, Paola adjusts her sitting position to give the young minnow better access to her back. The paint feels weird but comforting, and the usually energetic beta goes surprisingly still in order to avoid jostling Lovekit or ruining his work-in-progress. There are even moments when Paola holds her breath, determined to move as sparsely as possible.
When Lovekit finishes his work and explains the meaning of it to Paola, a touched look crosses her features. She glances over her shoulder, seeing bits and pieces of the artwork on her fur, and… and perhaps there are happy tears in her eyes, but she subtly brushes them away before looking back at Lovekit and smiling gratefully.
”It’s perfect, Lovekit! Thank you so much,” comes her warm response, eyes still misty from the sudden swell of emotion. Paola shakes her head, schooling her features as she does so, and when she settles again, she’s calmer, although the happy glint hasn’t left her eyes. ”I wonder if there’s a way to keep this, you know? Permanently.”
