When Sugarspice had first seen the seagulls flying high above the territory, she had thought nothing of them. They were simply birds that were potentially scavengers that they could look out for or even potentially use for prey if it came to it and if they were able to catch them. But when she had seen them in their own camp, ravaging through their prey pile in an attempt of what she could only assume was to be assholes and make them starve? She decided it was time to do something.

Though at the time she had discussed this as a thing that she wanted to do in order to keep the gulls out of their food, Sugarspice wasn't quite sure how they would all be able to do it, and so she had taken the time to research and gather her own materials for it all first. Research meant trial and error of course, since she couldn't really read, but how hard could weaving a giant basket with a lid be?

Harder than she expected that was for sure.

With a small sigh, the feline placed her paws down, done with fumbling with the seaweed and grass she had collected, before looking around for a moment and calling out her words. "If anyone wants to help out with weaving baskets and lids so the seagulls can't get into our food, come over here!" She was new, and didn't know how many quite trusted her yet, but maybe this would help a bit with all of that.  "speech"
