This harsh rocky land held one major advantage that lent itself well to hunting what sparse things settled here - that it was as barren in colours as it was in life.

Meaning that it leant itself well to camouflage - and Corvannis being mostly coloured to the environment was rather suited for it, the only bright spots the bioluminescent glow of blue, which served more as an attraction to the curious wildlife than anything (and was easily hideable given he could control the intensity) - That and his brighter hair looked more like dry grass which if he kept still enough, would bring the hungry to him if anything.

But for now,the snap and crunch of bone echoed along the rocks as Corvannis tore the head from the third lizard he’d found today - scrawny scraggly things but edible at least.
