THE TACTICIAN
— Harlow Roux Brannon
- Originally Herlawe it is an Old English name that means hare hill
— Har, Arlo, by some permits Art or Artie
— Intersex
- Identity is somewhat fluid by publicly identifies as non-binary or within that line, does not truly connect with either manhood or womanhood but such may change later
- Interchangeably uses all pronouns but seems to prefer he / him
— Unknown
- Rarely cares to think on such, it may be a long time before he cares enough to do so
— Golden tiger doberman hybrid
- Compact, stocky build
- On the small side
- Doberman pattern
- Long soaring wings
Imperfect balance, a creature unique in all ways. Compact the chest build with seeming strength within mind, yet the hips into which it tapers are more delicate, a poor match at first. Apparent how both come together, though the felidae is easier to find, short the legs upon which he is set and yet broad the paws, the retractable nature of his claws, at least the front for that upon the back paws are more akin to the blunt of the canid side, further hinting at this. In many ways ways it seems almost a gradual transition between his two halves, even the short stub of his tail accenting this.
Yet, atop it all, his coat stops this blend. Short and smooth it is of a fineness that speaks solely of the canid, poor in retaining heat though such makes him well suited to the tropical climates of the island. His colouring is rather simple, bearing the dark base with the rusty highlights along underside, yet against even the base apparent is markings akin to his other side, clearest against his legs where the colour lightens
Of his face is there another blend, the square skull bearing a low, sloping forehead taken from the canid yet the muzzle is short and rounded, nose more akin to the felidae though of a black hue. In colouring the majority continues the vase, muzzle bearing the rusty colour once more, about eyes rimmed black with the markings of a tiger hued in rust. While he lacks the thickened fur about jawline his chin bears the somewhat thickened fur, his mouth also outlined in black, stark against the red it is set against. About his face is also stripes, upon cheeks and about eyes the most noticeable, and his tall pointed ears bear spots, some of the white on him
As of both he is given a pair of wings, yet their model is the seafaring albatross. Made to soar they dwarf him when opened to their full length, very near double his length and quite wide over their full length. Much of the top continues to carry his dark base, fading away along the secondary and primary flight feathers, white prevailing and colouring the underside, though here it is spotted in his secondary hue along his flight feathers
So too does he bear antlers but, as with any who do so, their growth is not present at birth. Rather it is around the six month mark they will begin to grow in, dark the base until it touches upon the first tine, a set of four upon each, and as with any he deals with the shedding of velvet and the loss of them on a yearly basis, but the climate of the island means they typically fall around December and grow again the next spring
— The reformer
Determinator / No social skills / Undying loyalty / Hidden depths / Deadpan snarker
— diligent ; honest ; vigilant ; pragmatic
— head strong ; tempremental ; enigmatic ; idealistic
— All work and no play
- Even within such an early stage of his life it grows rather apparent just how much he takes after Gold, the beginning hints of perfectionism merely hiding the workaholic tendencies he harbours. A rather small and sickly child from the get go the constant over exertion as he strives always to become better effects are bound to arise, and indeed they do, chronic pain and fatigue becoming an issue before his training even begins
— Life of the party
- Accustomed to hearing the tales of his mothers accomplishments to none is it truly a surprise the child strives for similar, acts as they do even as such attempts lead to failure. Unfortunate the downside of misplaced hope to make those around him proud, his own short comings met with self hatred and harsh berating, punishments put upon himself in a poor manner of trying to correct his behaviour. If not found out, as he begins to understand the damage this is inflicting upon him, may end up approaching Gold about the matter but the damage is already done
— Heat of the forge
- Once but a hindrance, believed his poor physical state to do nothing more than a downside for the crew as a whole, time shows his strengths lay elsewhere. A natural leader, yet lacking the ambition that may drive him to seek any sort of high rank, towards battle strategy does his mind turn, picking up a hobby within blacksmithing. Here he finds purpose, a reason to keep going, and where once he was an obstacle in his own eyes he may assist in his own ways
