steadily and steadily had Jaime stopped being wary of approaching strangers and instead a different sort of urge nestled in his chest - the sudden impulse of intruder! Intruder-in-territory! That seemed to intrude itself along his thought process and make the youth’s pelt bristle with imagines spines and the cloying heat taht should but didn’t claw up his throat - an urge to flare small wings and hiss threateningly at such brazen strangers that broke a sweat upon his brow when he tried to overcome the sudden impulse.

The dragon scale dangling from his chain bumped against his chest, his eyes regaining focus on said stranger that had stopped the cubs slow gentle pace around the territory in his tracks.

He didn’t recognise them, he’ll they might even be family long missing but Jaime had a rather large one at that - but the words they spoke meant that they knew this place,

Though doubtless it looked changed now after the meteor fall.

Warily Jaime approached them
