Georgia wasn't sure what she was expecting to walk out of the brush farther up the shore - but it absolutely was not a patchy feline decked in jewelry. To match was a brisk pace and an unusually concerned expression, two things that Georgia didn't quite understand or care to interact with. In her surprise and relative alarm, a breeze twisted the sand at her paws to her right - a reflex reaction that took her a moment to control. The wind seemed to funnel around her, responding to the potential threat that was this odd looking cat.
Once he spoke, the wind fell in it's temper, though it left Georgia almost completely dry. Flicking her tongue against her teeth, she tried to rid her mouth of the sand. She decided he was of no current threat to her based on his tone, though she wasn't past hitting a stranger if necessary. (In fact, she had no qualms at all about hitting strangers at all.) "Yeah?" Georgia said wearily. "You make it sound like there's a secret city somewhere."
Worse for wear? Georgia's nose wrinkled. She'd been on her own for a month now - there had been times she'd dragged ass through a forest to find food while half asleep. Perhaps it was the adrenaline that pushed energy through her bones, but she felt relatively fine. Worse for wear, She snorted to herself. She could show him worse for wear. Then again, as it hadn't really occurred to her before, it might be the physical state of her being - fur pushed in all directions, baby hairs awry.
Of course, as much as she would rather push this guy into the ocean, she also wanted to get somewhere safe for sleep before her post-power energy slump, which was inevitable. Green eyes moving over the state of the strange feline once more, her mouth quirked into a semi-frown. Her name? "I'll tell you my name if I get yours first; I don't usually give away personal information to people I don't know." Even as a kid, she knew it was stupid to open up to strangers like that. Besides, she was naturally curious as to what this guy's name was - if he gave her some normal ass name, she might double over in laughter.
Georgia was preparing to shrug and say yeah, she was friendly enough if they were, but the arrival of someone else nearly had her biting her tongue. This cat - could she say cat? Did that apply if there were horns and wings? Brow rising as far as it could go, she openly stared at Roxanne in childish disbelief. "Does that happen naturally? That's not going to happen to me if I stick around for a little while, is it?" Because frankly, the idea of horns popping out of her head was horrifying. If this was an island for misfits, then her family tree would have her sliding into the ranks almost undetected.
