Shit, how long had it been since the last Mask Vigil? At least for Vigenere personally, he hadn't ever encountered one since his joining two years ago... Or at the very least not since he's returned for the second time. "Tanglewood!" The savannah called, letting his voice echo throughout the camp. It was night, with the moon high in the sky, so it was likely everyone was asleep (or half-asleep) - but this was always when the Mask Vigils happened.

Or well, they took place in the graveyard. "Tonight is our Mask Vigil." Vigenere went on, sitting down and calmly wrapping his tail around his paws. "For those unaware, a Mask Vigil is a night where you go to the Graveyard, navigate through the entire stretch, and make it back. If you make it back before the sun rises, you will recieve a mask of your choice." He paused, letting that sink in. "But I will warn you: your clanmates that already have masks are allowed to attack you, to deter you and prevent your progress. It's supposed to be a little competition!" That's how he remembered it, at least. "When everyone is ready, I will lead the way."
