the use of powers was still relatively 'new' to hollow's creek. his clan had been so secluded from the world within the tundra that the appearance of physical or mental gifts were a rarity. a blessing from aarus, of course. it was rarely recorded in his clans history, the last known saber with natural born gifts probably generations ago. leaving the tundra and seeing how common it actually was had made holly feel lighter. his uncle's misuse of his powers had made him shy of using them again for quite some time.

all of the powers holly had come across were more earthly, though. manipulating the earth's natural elements and forces, not so much what michael had. shapeshifting had been more common in his folklore than real life. as michael had thought, it truly was lucky his voice remained, as it was the only thing recognizable to the saber. otherwise he was a hissing garter snake weighed down by chains and rings.

"michael- this is a very strange predicament." he might not who michael preferred to see, but either way he would offer himself to help. even if the concept was still foreign to him. "i'm going to assume you didn't do this on purpose. did anything trigger this? or did some outside influence cause it?" a witch, he thought, might very well have done this.
