Mercede didn’t want to rule, that was something she saw no benefit in doing. The girl didn’t want to be responsible for anyone but she did want to be their responsibility. She wanted them to care for her without controlling her.

She had to admit she enjoyed his minor flustered behavior, but then he mentioned where she was and she pinned her ears to her head. Secretly she was pleased with herself, she had done it too do Sweeney wasn’t so special!

”Mmm... yea that’s my sister. Or one of them.”, she flicked her big ear as she turned to look around them, “Yea Im from the Pitt I thought we went over that? My Papa was Jervis?

She didn’t really like that he recognized someone related to her but she didn’t even know if this boy even had siblings.

“I hope you don’t mind I’m from the Pitt. It would be nice to have a friend.”, she would bound around him giving her most charming smile because she really didn’t want to leave and she wouldn’t regardless of what he said.

“I think you’re pretty cool Ivan.”, he listened to her for the most part, at least he heard her out more than anyone. Most importantly he didn’t really know her, she could be anyone to him. It was like some fun type of play pretend. It made her feel quite powerful, “So what about you Ivan? You have any sisters or brothers? Do you have both your parents? Or any family?”
