After everything that was going on in The Typhoon, Aphra certainly needed some time to herself. First was the whole situation with Goldenluxury's birth - which she apologized for, but clearly Goldie didn't exactly trust her even after that. Then there was the whole thing with her being disowned by her father, though she had... mostly... gotten over that, thanks to Roxanne being there for her. But then there was the scene that happened a couple days ago, when Brandykit revealed that he had chased Trygve off.

Aphra had tried to protect Roxanne from feeling heartbroken and had accidentally threatened Brandykit, claiming she would end the child's life if he had killed Ry. Everyone suddenly went at her, growling and snarling, and Aphra felt bad. The feeling of everyone's glaring gazes on her felt horrible and she hated how her chest grew tighter. But she had been so busy every single then, trying to make amends for what she did that day. As soon as she had the time, Aphra told herself that she would go get a few drinks from the tavern, because the gods knew she needed some at the point.

So the oriental longhair made her way towards the tavern, holding her head and long tail high. Everyone - or mostly everyone (they were mostly NPCs), she supposed - knew her here and it was rather soothing. Aphra wasn't 100% sure if they liked her or if it was drunken stupor, but either way she enjoyed the attention it gave her. Even if these people weren't anybody important.
