His head raised, ears pushing forward as the soft buzzing and humming arrived. That noise had become welcome to him, as much as he didn't know that. He took the initiative, slowly padding towards the great bug. He paused, before speaking softly, his eyes searching the bug's own. "Hey." He spoke, for the first time in Pittian territory with a clear voice. His head tilted gently, his ocean blue eyes softening as he spoke to him. "Thank you for flying me all over the place." He opened his mouth to continue, but a voice came over him.
His head turned, eyes finding Sweeney. A light chuckle came from him as his body turned, his long, thick tail sweeping the ground. If one took great care in studying his body, the large paws on him would tell just how big he was going to get- and the answer was, nothing short of his father, despite the caracal bits deep in him. However, as she continued, a frown touched his muzzle and his tipped ears lowered, pressing against his head. "I'm.. no ghost." He spoke softly, before sighing. Slowly, he sat, his tail curling around him neatly.
There was grief, in his eyes, but he wasn't sure of Sweeney would be able to see that. "My name is Piers. I'm not dead, and I never really had a brother to speak of." He responded, his gaze shifting off to the side. His paws shifted in the sands, a hard look coming over his eyes before he looked back towards the child, then up to Astiar. "Where is my father? Do you two know? I need to see him." He asked, his voice gentle- but scared, oh so scared.
