Whenever there were carrion birds circling around, there was almost a guarantee that someone or something had died. Maybe it was odd satisfaction, maybe it was just Caesar's sick mind, but he seemed to follow the birds around in search of dead bodies to experiment on them. Er well, perhaps experiment was the wrong word; nah, the demon just wanted to perfect his branding skills with the dead bodies. After all, it was harder to carve into a living, breathing, conscious person. Perhaps he should be doing it the other way around but hey, Caesar wasn't exactly known for being the sharpest tool in the shed.

So Caesar would stumble upon Pier's body, vaguely recognizing the kid from the scene with that Typhoon kid. He didn't really know the kid past what he looked like - hell, he didn't even know Pier's name. Maybe the demon should've been more cautious, but (as mentioned before) he wasn't quite as smart as that. So upon getting to Pier's somewhat unconscious body, the demon took out the knife he carried with him. Quickly, Caesar would reach out and try to carve a triangle-shaped wound into PIER's shoulder. No use in talking; after all, what would a dead body have to say to him? 'Stop carving into my body'? Ha, as if he would listen to some spirit.
