No, the heat never settled, much like the hunt. Her nose pressed to the ground the instant she had stepped free from the situation- knowing damn well Roxie and Marina could hold onto Goldie- before a growl uttered from her. The doberman paced herself towards the jungle, her eyes half lidded and filled with fire. Marina had been right to hurt her- but in front of their Captain, who was sluggish and sorrowful? No, that wasn't right. Sam had her own bone to pick with Aphra, but she'd do it in private.
She stepped foot into the spongy undergrowth, and she picked up her pace. Weaving and ducking about different branches, before she came like thunder upon the bush. Her wings fluttered, before slapping against her side. "Show yourself." She ordered, slowly moving towards the side in which Aphra held herself again. "I meant what I said." She muttered, her tone deep and harsh.
