[font=trebuchet ms]Of all the things Rin had expected to hear that day, a small, high-pitched voice squeaking pained profanity was not one of them. As she found herself following Coop towards the scene, the scent of blood growing slowly stronger, she felt a pang of dread- she really hoped that wasn't an actual child that had just been screaming in pain. Maybe it was just a smaller species, or-
-nope, that was in fact a child, with a nosebleed. He smelled of the Typhoon, too. While he would probably recover, Elysium would need to treat and return him quickly, otherwise the Typhoon would be barging in to demand what had happened to him. Goldenluxury was a reasonable individual normally, but Rin didn't know anyone who could act reasonable when a child was in danger, not even herself.
Instinctively checking the forest behind the cub, she watched closely for movement. When a few seconds passed without any figures moving into view, she sighed and looked back at him. "We should stop the bleeding first, then check for other injuries," she said, scooping up some snow in her paws. "If you could go grab a blanket, Coop, we can keep him warm while we're treating him. Once the bleeding's stopped, we can probably move him inside."
Twitching her ears, she met the cub's eyes and said, "I'll need to press this snow on your face to make your nose stop bleeding. Can't promise it won't hurt, but the pain should subside quickly." She would then attempt to apply the snow to his nose, pressing gently but firmly.
