Roxanne had been fortunate enough to have not gotten severe injuries from the dire wolf when it had attacked her yet she had been certain that the damage she had dealt was enough to kill the large brute. She was about to find out that she was horribly wrong. The draconic jaguar knew that her belly was swollen though she wasn't sure how much longer it would be before her cubs were finally born, she anticipated the day greatly hoping that all would go well. Roxanne finding herself going on numerous strolls due to her restlessness, she couldn't stay in one place and whenever she was cooped up was usually the time she found herself indulging on a piece of meat or two. Restless. Worried. Though now she walked along the beach with her mismatched gaze glancing to the sides, she began to wonder over a few things though they were silenced briefly realizing she had gone near the rainforest, a frown tugging on her maw. Roxanne knew better than to wander in blindly, she was aware of the dangers that lurked and hid underneath all the foliage, she was ready to turn away and leave until the smell of blood hit her nostrils.
Her curved ears twitched briefly, her paws sinking further into the sand as she stood there for a moment or two. She should probably check it out and see what it was, her tail flicking to the sides cautiously as the Privateer strode into the rainforest with a soft growl leaving her maw. Perhaps it was an injured prey animal? It would be a waste if she just let it die or well, let it go to waste since it didn't seem like any other predator was making it's way towards it. Her steps grew faster recognizing the smell lingering with the blood, her fur prickling and her pupils narrowing into dangerous slits. The dire wolf. Had it returned? She was in no shape to fight it but maybe her appearing would scare them off but the moment she reached the place where the smell was coming from, she was met with the bleeding form of Octane. She bit her tongue hating the feeling of her mouth basically drooling at the metallic smell, Roxanne noticed the dead rabbit close to the cheetah only to ask with a frown "Are you alright? What happened?" She drew closer with a lash of her tail, she hoped someone would come over soon to help. She let out a roar to announce their presence to those out of the forest and within.
