hurt. lungs. breathless. ouch. The leg that was kicked into his stomach nearly knocked him down and out of air, his breath coming in slight wheezes. He didn't like getting hurt. He didn't get hurt when he was with his brothers, they could all just take down their prey together. He missed his brothers. They wouldn't let this little shit do this to him.
With a snarl, the large wolf threw himself forwards, ignoring the stumble as he hit the ground and his crippled leg folded under him, shaking off the blood in his eyes from freshly opened wounds. Moving to grasp the fleeing creature, he failed. The little shit was fast. It took a few minutes to finally lock his teeth on its neck and attempt to pin it. Biting, tearing, ripping.
