//OOC
Now with a home to his name, Ska'arq spent most of his time in Barracuda bay, occasionally disappearing and returning home with odd things to put inside. The fact that most of said things were simply rocks or pebbles had others looking on in confusion.
At this particular point of the day, the dragon was sitting on his porch, seemingly writing in a leather-bound book. Every now and then he would look up at the subject he was writing about. He was studying them, and they hadn't noticed his blatant staring. (Their back was turned - they were talking to someone and smoking. He was writing about their body language and expressions).
When the smell of smoke drifted past his nose, he paused mid-stroke of his pencil and looked in the direction of the source. Immediately captivated, he quickly scrawled his last thoughts, set the book down, and followed the trail.
At the end of it, where the powerful burning smell seeped from an open door, Roxanne and an unfamiliar feline seemed to be interacting. He took mental note of the blackened pieces scattered on the sand. They were being thrown by the bobcat - Michael, as he heard him called - to the hungry birds. Ska'arq sat down. "It appears to be a failed attempt at cooking food," he replied in Michael's stead. "Perhaps a bread of some kind. I cannot smell any traces of meat."
