Izuku had never been the best at masking his emotions, in all truth. He'd rarely had reason to try. Or ... well, he sort of did. It was always worse when he melted down. But he still never did, so he'd never learned. Every emotion, there to see. It made Izuku ... nervous, but it seemed it helped in this particular scenario if nothing else, even if the kitten wasn't aware of it.Izuku's ears prick at the compliment. Smart? He hadn't pointed out anything new. It was probably fairly obvious, even. .. .... Izuku'll take what he can get. A considering look passes over Izuku's face at Revolver's point, then nods, understandingly. Izuku had scented it before he'd even encounter the ocelot, so he supposes he'd be right. He can certainly see how it'd bother people, in any case.
Izuku nods again as Revolver repeats him. Exploring. Izuku can find just about anything to poke his nose into, if he just tries a bit. He can probably make a list of the local flora and fauna if he wants to, for no other reason than to distract himself. Now, Izuku has no particular interest in either of these things, but that's not going to stop him. So ... making "exploring" is a somewhat loose term.
"Throw knives?" Izuku, similarly, repeats, with a hint of curiosity. He remembers seeing the other throwing knives earlier. It'd been pretty cool, and while Izuku maintains his position on weapons -- well. It's still pretty cool. Izuku tips his head once more, grinning with more confidence than previously. "I -- I can't say I've ever tried!" He chirps, belatedly following Revolver's gaze to the logs. He'd been throwing it at trees earlier, too. Was that what they were for. "I've never -- I've never tried it. I knew somebody who did, though," "Knew somebody" -- poor word choice. Izuku certainly hadn't seen him in more than passing, though he'd probably have been one of Izuku's teachers if it hadn't ... right.
