For just a moment, Izuku can't help but regard Revolver with an oddly calculating look. For all the ocelot's reassurance, Iuku can't help the flash of habitual distrust. Was it safe to relax? He didn't -- he seems rather passive now, not even just .. just staring at him like some others might."It's, um, it's okay," Izuku allows, blinking at him. He manages to muster a bright, albeit rather shaky smile. It's not his fault that Izuku is so easily spooked.
There's a moment of silence. Izuku merely waits, uncertain, as the other takes a drag from his cigarette. It's kind of strange, the whole encounter and where did he get one of those anyways, but. Well. Izuku may not particularly approve of cigarettes, a trait which was patiently instilled by his mother, but he's hardly going to comment.
Then he continues talking. Izuku merely nods. No, he doesn't understand what he means by that, not really, and no, he's not going to comment on it.
"I - I don't think anyone's awake to bother," Izuku tells him, still smiling shakily as he tips his head. He hadn't been to the bay tonight, not yet, but he would assume that most people would be asleep.
His smile, small as it may be, fades as he contemplates Revolver's question. Averting his gaze, he shuffles his paws. He doesn't look ashamed, not quite, but reluctant at least.
"I. I, um, don't really sleep well," Izuku says, bobbed tail twitching. "S-So I decided to explore a bit more, since I'm not able to anyways," It's a fairly short answer, an answer while avoiding saying much more than necessary. Granted, it wasn't that hard to read inbetween the lines. It's not like nightmares were all that uncommon. Or overthinking. Izuku wasn't special. He just ... well. He just had to get out and exercise and think until he couldn't anymore. Until his brain could just stop. That was all.
