His first instinct was water. After all, to him, nothing was better than a cool glass of water after a long day. But, a second thought raced through his head just as he had grabbed a glass. Selby looked back towards the resting general, unsure of what to do. ‘Something to drink’ was a euphemism, was it not? But what if he didn’t mean it like that? He didn’t want to assume. Let me know if you’d like anything else.” His tone was pleasant and remained conversational, despite his uncertainty. “I’m sure things have gotten a lot more difficult since you’ve come back. Y’know, coming back from the dead and being made leader and all.”
