Back home, knitting hadn't been something Aslisk had ever partaken in. It was something that she hadn't heard of. She'd heard of drawing, yes. It was one of the biggest hobbies that she was aware of. Hunting for sport was another hobby that she'd heard of, but she figured that would be against morals around here considering how practically everything could be considered prey. She knew the featherbrains had lots of hobbies, such as being absolutely annoying and stupid as well as diving down from cloud height to see who'd pull away at the last second; such a thing Aslisk pinning under 'stupidity'. She'd hunted for sport back home once or twice, but eventually decided against continuing it. Waste of food, especially since it fell in line with more deplorable morals that she'd attempted to distance herself from. She'd almost been forced back to them a few times due to the events that directly proceeded her arrival into this strange world. Aslisk was somewhat proud that she'd managed to mostly keep them away.
"Really now. I was about to say that you were trying to lusluing cook... what's it called, spag-feh-tee?" The regent grumbled. Her tail swung slowly behind her, clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth. Knitting. What an odd term. She hadn't ever heard of such a thing before, and it certainly placed confusion upon her face. Her red eyes narrowed when the needles were stretched out, and her head craned forward so she could inspect them. Odd looking, reminded her of a spear. Almost. Way too small to be effective, for sure. "You... can make things. With that." There was almost a twinge of interest withing her words. Making something with some sticks and string? She could do that. Maybe it would be something that she could bring back home with her - a talent, or a means to make something nice. Something other than a card and some bowls to show that she hadn't forgotten, and was still thinking of her family no matter how great the distance was. "Don't suppose you'd mind explaining how you're doing that," Aslisk then chattered, leaning her weight forward on her talons. Now interest covered her usually gruff words, head tipping somewhat to the side to equally present some percent of curiosity.
