[div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"]SALEM | Quietly, the feline listened, feeling his eyes blink as he heard the dismay in the young Roan's voice. The dark-furred feline inclined his head, brows creasing in gentle nature, although unseen.
"I'm not leaving the Typhoon." His first home away from home -- the thought of ever leaving created a pit of unease in the youth's stomach.
"Ikaia and his friend Aine," a distant cousin of Keona and Roan's, he realized, "convinced me to help found the Ravens and Crows. None of us are leaving our old homes. It's... A youth-based organization, about exploring and helping everyone."
"And I just split my time in-between here and there." A smile lifted his lips, hoping the explanation soothed the boy's worries; he hardly wanted to be cause for anyone's sadness, let alone a friend's.
"Aine thought we could get the word out about us through a bonfire, with s'mores and everything... We'd love to have the two of you there. I might bring a scarf or something warm though -- we set up in a cold place." Salem took a soft breath, shifting the weight between his paws -- speaking so much felt unnatural but if he succeeded in bringing information and brought Roan some excitement, it would be worth it.
