She knew that he liked horror movies, and when she had found out that there was an old replaying of one at the movie theater, she had decided that was her time to take Beck and hang out with him, even if it's something where they can't really talk to each other at first, but maybe he'd talk to her at the end, when the movie was over and they were leaving.
She could only hope that they'd get close, considering how close she knew him and Selby had been before Moth had gotten involved. She wanted him to still feel comfortable around Selby, even if she was around as well now, so she guessed it was more-so wanting him to be comfortable around her. Maybe one day they'd take the poltergeist in as their own, but in order to do that she'd have to know him better.
It was the end of the movie, and they were leaving, she'd stop for a moment, looking down at the child before finally speaking. "Did you want anything before we leave?" Popcorn? Candy? She'd buy some before they got going if he wanted it.
