CAUSTIC
Caustic could not imagine why anyone would willingly come here. He would have moved out already if it wasn't for the desert that lied between him and the rest of the island. Caustic had weighed the pros and cons of trying to cross it, but he had not collected enough data on the other clans yet to decide if it was worth his time. This place was awful, absolutely, its only saving grace was the jungle, and it was half-charred. It would take time to regrow and that was time Caustic wanted to spend trying to escape.
He could not continue his work here. The population of this group, and possibly the whole island, barely touched the stone age. Caustic could not work on his gas without the necessary equipment, and it was slowly dawning on him that he may be unable to continue his work.
He had yet to test the gas that extrude from his body, and it was his last hope. What was Caustic without his poison?
Caustic's eyes locked onto the rat, a common brown rat. He would have to be cautious, he needed it alive-
Footsteps. Running. Panting, huffing, speaking- his rat ran from view and Caustic let out an angry sigh, a cloud of green gas expelling from his mouth. He turned, pointed ears directed in the direction of noise. He sucked in a breath, the smell of an outsider hitting his nose for a brief moment before Caustic's body heaved into a cough. The aged wolf started walking in the direction the noise and smell, his own paw steps heavy and irritated.
Caustic came from the trees, paws settled on the tree roots. He placed his left forepaw in a secure spot- he needed a new prosthetic- and let angry blue eyes fall on the cat. Caustic's face twisted, brows raised, tail level, head tilted, eyes reading fury.
"Explain yourself. You have interrupted my experiment."
