idyll tilted their head before quickly shaking it in response. "of course not, silly." they giggled, humming softly at the affection given. so much had happened since the raid, idyll hadn't even though of it in some time. their absence had caused a great shift in their focus and perspective. the pitt rarely on their mind anymore.
"i missed you. so much happened after that... nothing bad here though i promise. we went back... almost the same. i was kidnapped though." the sage shifted slightly in discomfort. "my um, father found me. i don't know how but he figured out where i was before i could find him. i thought... he wanted to see me but it wasn't the case." they averted their gaze from bai now. embarrassed. they still felt so foolish for falling so quickly into their fathers schemes. they almost died from it.
"i discovered i had these strange powers, though. they're locked within this." they lifted the pendant up. "reach out and hold it. it's a spider made of quartz. you can feel the energy it has in it. these powers helped me escape alive. if i hadn't had them..." they would not have returned for sure.
