Hearing a growl, Alastor almost felt obliged to step back. Kliment's jagged teeth could easily wrap around his neck. Hell, even a swipe of their many vicious spines or claws could end him in a few seconds. Needless to say, the doberman would not be pleased. Nevertheless his confidence outweighed his almost nonexistent fear. They always came to their senses eventually. No one had ever dared to disobey him. Why would they now?
Despite Kliment's frozen stance, his dismissal continued. As the larger being growled on, the doberman just stared at him expressionless. His purple gaze observed him up and down, choosing to focus on where they were tense. Jaw muscles on the canine clenched and the fur on their neck stood up towards the sky. Would they lunge forward and snap at him? Claws even tried to grasp onto the snow beneath their paws. Alastor's chance of being attacked was high. Once his manipulative spell broke, his victims would likely start moving there first after all. With that in mind, he vehemently avoided their face. Alastor remained within Kliment's vicinity though. Perhaps even uncomfortably close.
With no answer given, he grew frustrated. Feeling warm air on his face, the canine just narrowed his eyes back up at Kliment's own gaze. "I asked you to speak," he grumbled. "Now speak." This time he was demanding an answer.
