Adversity was not a word that Sam beheld to herself. More like, hey, you're life is a shitwreck. She didn't look into metaphorical sights to tell her which way the world was leaning. She didn't connect them to her mind, the status of the world didn't care for her. The GREY world had pounded that into her. The world didn't care for her, and the weather walked to the beat of it's own drum. Now that she was back in Tanglewood, with relative peace, she was unsure of what she should do besides recover.
She had been gone for so long. Friends she had, turned to new people. She couldn't blame them, she would've done the same thing. She couldn't sit around waiting for people to show up again. Like Dean, never showing up. Her head shook vigourously, padding away from where she was being rehabbed for the moment. Her scarred side glimmered in the sun, her mismatched gaze raising towards it with a narrowed eye. Stupid sun, stupid light. At least in that Pittian cave she was restricted from light. Maybe it was stereotypical, teenagers and their reluctance to stand in the sun.
She exhaled sharply through her nose. She pushed her way into the tavern, having headed there to see if there was any food besides crackers awaiting her.. anywhere. Her eyes drifted about, and stopped on Leroy. That being said, Sam's madness problem was completely because he disappeared. And, well, the disappearance being so shortly after he said he'd be there for him. She winced sharply, her gaze dropping and her ears flopping down, pressing against her head.
"You know.. you scared me."
